The site began as a place where two friends; 'The Standard Deviant', and Devo, would place accounts of experiences they had, and write about things they had created.

The desire to be a part of niche groups that the majority perceive as cool can suffocate some people. Activities that deviate from the generally-accepted idea of what people should be doing are not accepted. How many people do you know who would admit they enjoy reading? Getting pissed and wandering around shopping centres was and is not really either Devo's nor The Standard Deviant's idea of fun.
C.O.W.A.R.D is essentially a gallery showing the product of our members' unconventional and frequently disturbing imaginations.
For now we are just gathering creative, open-minded people.
